Wed, 26 September 2007 ![]() Today Rosalie Yoakam comes for another visit and tells the remarkable story of Quaker Jane Finley Wales Nicholson (b. February 1st, 1806 in Iredale Co., North Carolina - d. September 9th, 1906 in Indiana), an early pioneer of the Waynesville-Harveysburg area. Jane and her husband, Valentine, were conductors on the Underground Railroad and were involved in other liberal reform movements of the time.
